CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION
Blossom Beginnings currently offers a hybrid Childbirth Education course combining a live online course paired with two private Birth Consultations for a well-rounded childbirth education. Learn with other birthing couples expecting around the same time as you while also getting a personal one-on-one connection with certified Birth Doula, Tarryn Monet to discuss any topic you would like.
Each Childbirth Course is taught in the perspective of the Birth-Giver and Birth Partner, instead of the limited provider-based perspective offered by many hospitals and medical providers. This course will explore ALL of your birth options, not just the ones your provider wants you to know! Learn what the onset of labor is really like, understand the true pathway of birth (it's not linear!), and learn how to communicate with medical staff to place you in the best position for a positive birth experience.

This 8-session course is designed to go throughout your third trimester so you can learn about labor, birth, and postpartum at a natural pace instead of a traditional format which crams all the information down your throat in a few hours. Not only is all of that information hard to absorb but it's also easy to forget.
We'll meet once online, weekly or biweekly for a 1-2 hour session, followed by short videos, readings and assignments to do in your own leisure. Each session is taught by a Childbirth Educator and Birth Doula, providing you with current, evidence based knowledge, as well as guidance preparing your heart and mind for your labor and childbirth experience.
In addition, this course includes TWO one-hour Birth Consultations so you can personally discuss topics of your choice to ensure that you're getting the support you need to prepare for birth. This holistic approach to labor and childbirth will have you confident, empowered and prepared no matter how or where you birth!
